Masterclass on Quantum Computing

Every year, QDNL Amsterdam hosted the masterclass Introduction to Quantum Computing, a joint effort with University of Amsterdam – Business School.

During the sessions, prominent scientists, thought leaders and entrepreneurs share their knowledge of quantum technology with professionals from different companies. The masterclass consists of talks by experts from varying organizations and subfields who took part in panel discussions to elaborate on cutting edge topics.

The structure of the course covers topics like the impact on cybersecurity, quantum computers to tackle problems in Material Science, the impact of quantum on society, applications in logistical optimization and the future of quantum.

Quantum computers provide a fundamentally new set of tools that can help us solve some of the world’s most difficult challenges. Many enterprises and companies are already investigating how to deal with this technology and the masterclass, equipped the attendees to make strategic decisions that help them reap the benefits of this technology, and manage its risks.

This masterclass is organized by The Analytics Academy and QDNL Amsterdam. The Analytics Academy is a collaboration between Amsterdam Data Science, ORTEC and the Amsterdam Business School of the University of Amsterdam. QDNL Amsterdam is the innovation hub that connects academia, business and society to foster a thriving ecosystem around quantum technology, with a strong focus on software and IT for end-users.
